Hi there!
I’m Mariana — a Creative Lead and Visual Designer who believes design is about more than visuals—it’s about creating systems that make communication seamless and work more meaningful. My focus is on clarity, consistency, and turning ideas into actionable solutions.
I’ve worked with global teams across marketing, sales, and product to craft cohesive strategies, from refining brands to designing decks and event campaigns. At every touchpoint, I prioritize intention and precision.
As a leader, I empower teams with tools and processes that balance structure and adaptability. For me, great design isn’t just polished—it connects, aligns, and moves things forward.

My academic journey began in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Design from Universidad de Caldas, one of Colombia’s top design programs. Originally a five-year program, I completed the degree ahead of schedule, graduating in September 2016. This rigorous curriculum provided a multidisciplinary education, combining theory with practice across diverse fields like still image, motion graphics, environmental design, and design theory. It is also home to the Festival de la Imagen (International Festival of the Image), a globally recognized event that unites artists and designers from around the world, further emphasizing the program’s leadership in design education.
Building on this strong foundation, I pursued a Master’s Degree (MDes) in Interactive Design and Creation at the same institution, focusing on design research and innovation. While I completed all the academic coursework during this intensive two-year program, my final thesis project remains unfinished due to an exciting career opportunity in the U.S. This experience not only deepened my understanding of design as a discipline but also instilled a research-driven approach that has shaped my creative process and professional work.
